Re-did one of the roofs...
One of the green houses I've been working had old 2x4s that were just hanging by rusty nails. Since I'm getting tired of dealing with the monsoons, I decided to cover it with corrugated plastic (Sun Tuf), and chose the tinted panels.
Here it is framed out... http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...nts/framed.jpg With the Sun Tuf panels installed... http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...nts/suntuf.jpg Midway showing the difference between the panels and not... http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a168/gotants/diff.jpg |
Did you put it in flat or is there a pitch?

Nice upgrade ! How much light do you figure the panels cut down ? 30 pct. ? You may have to water a little more in the rainy season.
That's a lot of work over your head.. Looks good though ! I'm trying to place a rain barrel myself.. A diverter in the downspout is my sticking point. Good post !! |
Somewhere I read its 28%. In the summer I'll pull 60% shade cloth over it.
