Hi Gin, we are in the same area, where do you get your Cyms. I have tried to find some that are small enough to grow in the house but am having trouble with that. Seems like all of them get huge.....Jean

Hi Jean , take a look at hausermann orchids they are in Illinois they don't have a lot of Cymbids . listed but I remember one . Another one that will take house Temps. is Golden Elf .
I put mine out in the spring they stay out till fall when it hits 40 they come into a cool area if they are kept too warm with buds the buds blast. Ebay did have some of the smaller growing warmth tolerant Cymbids . awhile back . Happy Growing :) |
Thanks for the info Gin, will give them both a try..Jean

Love it, great growing. Is it always pendulant?

@ Brenda pretty much so the ones that were more of less upright are more pendent after the blooms all opened . Thanks for the compliment :)
