Hello, I just signed up today, I am new to orchids trying to grow them for about two years now, with varying results, but getting there.
So far I like what I see in here and the workings of this board, so probably will stick for some time, altho I am more of a lurker then participant.
My collection started with few phals( of course) and then I expanded into cymbidiums, and now mostly cattleya alliance and whatever else looks good and sounds like it will survive in conditions that I am able to supply.
This past fall I started to experiment with growing under lights ( I live in zone 6, western NJ, USA).

Hi there! Looks like you are already addicted. I lurked for a long time before & after joining, then began to participate. I grow near windows but many in my orchid society grow under lights and their orchids look really, really nice. Glad you joined!
