Anyone Grow Heliconia?
 

I'm Just now getting into this species and live in S. Fl. Which ones would be best for my area? And what type of care do you give them? Thanks for any help.

Dave, from my limited experience with them, you just stick them in the ground and water them.
They seem just about bullet proof.

I grew several Heliconias a lot of years ago. They are easy plants to grow and are able to bloom all year round if giving them enough sunlight.
The winter low temperatue is about 12-15 degrees Celsius. They tolerate well here.
