Just changed over past few days? Any thoughts? Bugs? Andre --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=49.281681,-122.827127 |
use a magnifying glass and look for tiny bugs...
sometimes cold water this time of year will blemish leaves...use room temperature water by saving a gallon and putting it indoors overnight... if theres bugs: 12 drops dish soap 1/2 teaspoon cinammon extract 2 cups tepid water spray the plant until soaked use the rest of the mix to soak the pot and kill any bug eggs repeat the next week leaves can discolor or can have black dot spots if cold water drops remain when the sun shines on the leaves even for just an hour also make sure you are giving it the correct light, temperature and humidity according to its culture sheet crystals form on the roots from fertilizer that also discolors leaf tips...flush the pot with water in the sink for about 5 min to dissolve any crystal salts |
Andre, Is it the oldest leaf? I find on my multis that every once in a while the oldest leaf will go from being perfectly healthy looking to yellowing and eventually dieing. I originally thought it was me or my culture but now just accept it as part of the life of the plant.

I agree with bill. If its the lowest basal leaf. The plant is just translocating the nutrients to the newest leaf. The old leaf has done its purpose in supporting the plants and now will die. A new one should come out by now if not soon.
