Neostylis Lou Sneary 'Lea'

This plant has a tough time blooming every year. It usually looses three possible spikes before it makes one that matures. This year it finally made two. I also have "Bluebird" that is spiking for the first time with two spikes also that I will post when they open.

ooo - I love the color on this one! Glad it decided to behave better ;)

How beautiful. I've never seen Lea before. It has a great color. Great growing.
Thanks for sharing. -J |
I love it too! Where did you get it? I love my bluebird.

Very beautiful indeed. What do you suppose made it unwilling to bloom?
|
I love my bluebird too... and if I had 'Lea' I would love it just as much! :)
|
Paul, my best guess would be that the buds dried up due to the high temperatures that we have in Florida. They always seem to develop in the fall when it is somewhat cooler.
|
Ryan, my records tell me that I bought this plant from Carter and Holmes in August 04.
