Bulbo Elizabeth Ann 'Buckleberry' - now fully open
 

I bought this last Saturday and at the time thought the flowers were already open. Then I looked again at other peoples pictures of this orchid and realised they weren't.

The colour of the flowers have much improved since last weeks buds and they have got fatter looking. While I've seen this in pics before it is so wonderful in person. I love it and it keeps distracting me as I'm meant to be watering others :biggrin:

It took me a while to decide if I was going to buy it at the show, and I'm now soooo glad I did. There would have been no question at all if it had been fully open like this when I first saw it.

I've no idea how long the flowers are meant to last on this. No idea if it's days or weeks. Still open just now so we'll have to see.
