New Phal Purchase | Help Me Choose
 

Yes I have the bug... And these are my preferences.

Fragrant
On the small side
Art shades, reds, greens, blues....do not necessarily like pink but will consider if it has a neat form or color pattern.
SHAPE....I this is one of the more pleasing aspects of a plant I seem to enjoy.

So I have a list and frankly I don't know what to choose.

Other things to keep in mind:
I like interesting combinations or strange hybrids
They need to be tough plants...weak growers are just too much demand.

Which should I get?

Dtps. Sogo Yellowtris 'Caribbean Sunset'
(Sogo Gotris x Sogo Golden)


Phal. Talin Lion 'Hsing AM/AOS'
(Ching Fang Queen x gigantea)


Phal. Malibu Madonna 'Tokyo AM/AOS'
(Phal. Sleeping Giant x Phal. Coeur Blanc)


Dtps. Chingruey's Goldstaff 'Fortune'
(Phal. Ambonosa x Dtps. Taisuco Jewel)

I voted for Dtps. Sogo Yellowtris 'Caribbean Sunset'
(Sogo Gotris x Sogo Golden) because I liked the look of it, but it is not fragrant.
According to orchids.com website the only one fragrant from your list is Phal. Talin Lion 'Hsing AM/AOS' .
Good luck choosing, or better yet get all of them :).

Oh I know about the fragrance thing.... I prefer it but it's the color and shape that I find most important. I should have made that more clear.

If you really cannot decide, I say take all ！

Now that isn't going to happen. Anyone with a significant other understands you have to smuggle new plants in a little at a time.

Yep, I understand - I've reached the point where I can't really smuggle anymore in without being *ultra* crafty, which isn't really my style ;)

(btw I have voted for the Phal. Malibu Madonna as that's the one I'd buy)

My first choice would be Sogo Yellowtris. Second choice would be Chingruey's Goldstaff. :)

Ok I got the gigantea hybrid, p. corona (I know not on the list ... I was weak!) and the Hilo lip type hybrid. Should arrive Wednesday!
