Bulbophyllum Longiss.. wait a minute.
This plant was ID-ed as Bulbophyllum Longissimum and was very happy when it came into spike. I thought nothing of it till it bloomed today! Clearly not a Longissimum, but what is it?

Maybe something in the lobbii complex? Pretty cool, whatever it is.

Just an update, the flower closes at night too as if it's ''sleeping''

I agree with Nat, lobbii, hybrid probably.

Hi all,
maybe it could be? closest match i got is Bulbophyllum orectopetalum. shown here, IOSPE PHOTOS It cannot be a Bulbophyllum siamense tho because it does not have distinctive stripes but rather speckled with reddish dots. |
I agree with Xenophon, looks like Bulbophyllum orectopetalum to me.

Yes it is a Bulbophyllum erectopetalum; as I compared it to the picture of Jon Wagner for Bulbophyllum.com
also with the IOSPE photofiles at: IOSPE PHOTOS photos by David Jubineau |
