The first undamaged bud opened fully today. Smallish flower but nonetheless pretty.

'Wilcox' is a clonal name, and not a variety. So the correct name of this plant is Phrag. Cardinale 'Wilcox'. Hybrids don't have varieties, only species do. :)

What a lovely Phrag. I have a few in bud at the moment that I can't wait to flower. What is it about Phrags that is so alluring?

It's a great little flower and the colour is very delicate.

I particularly like the delicate look of it! And you captured it very nicely too in the photo. I think that's going on my wish list.

Such a lovely bloom and the color is soothing and pleasant.
