Gin, I also breed love birds,the main reason your hen is so aggressive is she wants to breed. I had hen who was the same way when she was ready she would attack anything that moved, I put a mate in her cage with no nest box thinking that would calm her down, she proceeded to lay and raise a clutch a young under her feed dish, so if you plan on breeding her, do it, she will make a perfect parent, but she is no longer a pet
