What amazing colors! You have a very nice collection of them.
I see that all the spikes are staked. Are the blooms too heavy to stay upright on their own?

Gorgeous! :wow

I also noticed the stakes, but they were inspiration for the fact my veitchianna spikes all sag downwards so much and I think I may try something similar.

My veitchianna grows such long spikes that they tend to sag.

:faint: Wow, just amazing!!!

I usually end-up having to steak some of my masdie hybrid blooms because they are too heavy. Probably why they don't occur in nature. A flower that breaks off as it get mature is no good to anyone.

:bowing

P.S. my faves are Copper Angel 'Highland' and Rein Sun 'Pyrgos'

This is just all fascinating to me. Fantastic blooms...I do not have this kind of orchid...but maybe from a thorough research on growing this plant; I might have the courage to own one someday.

WOW! Gorgeous blooms!
