Miltoniopsis Isler's Red
 

Here is another of my Milts currently in bloom. A small plant with only 1 flower for its first bloom. I'm not sure if this is a registered hybrid. It doesn't show up in OrchidWiz but is sold as Isler's Red.

WOW! This flower is just striking. The shape and the scarlet tinge just caught my attention.

I had one similar to this some years ago and at one stage had thirty flowers on it. Fabulous!

Lovely flower! I love Miltoniopsis, especially multi toned ones. Good job, I hope you get more flowers next time.

Does Any one out there know the breeding behind Mps Islers Red?. It is a great pity it is not registered in either Orchid Wiz or the RHS Data base. We have had some surface in New Zealand are keen to find out the background
