This is the 4th separately timed spike on the main new growth this season !!! THAT was hard enough to believe but NOW I find a SPIKE BUD on the secondary new growth as well !!!

8/x 4th spike !!! 7/23-31, 5/19-28, 4/13-22/11. Bloom log.

Can anyone tell me from experience that this is normal ???
.

It's quite normal for Catasetums to have multiple inflorescences.

Chryss - Very nice, did you ever post a photo of your Ten Dragons flower, they are so variable, would love to see yours.

Male pix is old. This year on one of the 3 spikes it put out a female bloom first and the rest were male !

I KNOW about multi spikes, what I was wondering was about how each spike was at a different time ??!!! April, May, July, and now !!! NONE of them over lapped each other !!!

Chryss - That happens all the time also. Consider youself lucky your blooming season has been extended.
