Cymb. Earlisue 'Eternal'? Can anyone verify?

Bought this from a Supermarket, just had a Number on a tag. I rang the supplier, an orchid nursery, who was on the label, he supplied the name. Can anyone help with the verification of the name.

There is none that I found in the AOS and Royal Horticultural Society rosters...not even on wiki...for that orchid name: but there is such a plant as: Cymb. Earlisue 'Paddy'

Thanks Bud, this means then, that a nursery has not registered the name. But sells the orchids anyhow.

Cym Earlisue is registered (=Sue x Trigo Royale). I can't see any reason to believe that the nursery has given you a dodgy name.

The only time that clonal names are documented by the AOS is when an award is being given to a specific plant.

Correct Andrew, I was misinformed by another person that they couldn't find it on the register.Hence my doubting it's tag. I believe it was registered in 1993. Thank you for your input.
