This one bloomed this morning! Related to the Stanhopea family. No scent tho! Don't know why it flowers upside down.

the blooms last about 6 days, day 4 its about to wilt..unlike the Stanhopeas, these don't have any fragrance so I don't know how these gets pollinated, flowers are also much smaller than stanhopeas.

fragrant or not, they are absolutely charming, love the whole alliance.

Wow, this is definitely an under represented genus! Where did you get this one from?

Except for the Stanhopeas and Gongoras the entire Alliance is mostly overlooked, hopefully that will soon change.
