Phalinopsis Lobbii re blooming

:hello I purchased a Phal Lobbii a year ago June and it was in bloom. It has be growing very well even produced a new plant but still no signs of blooming. I have it in bright (fluorescent) light the temp is 28c, 83f with a 65-70% humidity. It is planted on a Hoia stick in Sphag. Does anyone have any suggestions????? Tks Jim

I may be wrong, but I believe that Phal lobbii is primarily a late winter-spring bloomer, like Phal parishii is (which I have). In their natural habitat winters are often cool and dry, and the plants often lose their leaves (this phal is deciduous). They can bloom at other times of the year as well, but I think it's quite rare. My Phal parishii only blooms in the spring. The rest period isn't mantatory in cultivation, they'll still bloom without it.
