I bought about two months ago one phalaenopsis. For one month it had flowers but then they started to fall off and its leaves and roots started to go yellow. I water it once a week. I haven't yet crop it in order to rebloom. I really don't know what else to do. Please help me.
Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry to say that's dead :(

All the leaves are gone and the roots are not looking good. I don't think there is a way to rescue that one :(

I'm not sure what went wrong, but don't give up. Take a read of this thread, then get yourself a new one and try again. http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ends-here.html

I agree with RosieC. That one looks totally dead.:tombstone:

You need a new one to console yourself! the link RosieC provided is much worth reading as it is advise and problems that many members have had up to now regarding their phals. I don't know about your country but here in North America and the UK many phals are shipped (usually from Taiwan) with a wad of soggy moss in the very centre of the root ball. this causes root rot and death very quickly. It is not obvious unless you un-pot the plant. So the first thing you should do when you bring the new one home, is gently remove it from the pot and remove outer moss or potting material. If there is a mass of moss in the very centre below the crown of the plant, remove it all. Then gently replace the potting material. Only water when the plant is nearly dry. Don't get water in the centre (crown) where the leaves join. Make sure it never sits in water and has good drain holes in the pot.

This should get you a better start with the new one. My condolences and good luck with a new healthy one!

I concur... no leaves and almost all roots are brown. It's dead. The pot may have had too much moss tightly packed in it and the roots couldn't breathe at all, plus all the water stuck in there made them rot. I wouldn't buy from that seller again... or, if you're getting a really good price, I'd repot after buying.
