Orchid case
Well here is the orchid case we built at work to house the orchids donated to us by the Thai Ambassidor to Canada. He donated vandas, ascocendas, vascostylis, ascocentrums and dendrobiums. The others are mostly ones that spilled over from my own collection. We have and will get some insectivore plants as well. This represents about half of the total orchids we have. The Ambassidor donated 70 in total!
Here is the Ambassidor and the Chair of our Board cutting the ribbon last night. http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u...andRoses11.jpg Here is an end on shot of the case. There is a cedar lattice wall running down the middle. The humidity runs between 60-85%. http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u...rchidCase6.jpg And a shot of each side. http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u...rchidCase2.jpg http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u...rchidCase1.jpg |
