Dendrobium subuliferum
 

I've seen pictures of this plant a few times and really like everything about it... kind of like a bluish white cuthbertsonii. Everyone I know of that has it keeps in in I/C conditions, so I thought this was another I couldn't keep. I checked IOPSE and it is listed as growing from 300-2000 m asl. This altitude range indicates it should grow in a wide range of temperatures. Does anyone have experience or heard of it being grown I or I/W? I've found a source and would really like to try it, but I don't want to watch it slowly struggle and die.

I just unflasked mine today.

I let it grow in the flask for 5 months before i unflasked it though.

I got it with 2 bulbs and now it has 6 mature bulbs.

However, it was quite fragile and not alot of roots so hopefully it makes it.


These plants absolutely need a diurnal diffrence, ideally 10C
