Cymbidium Sarah Jean 'Jennifer'

I love small flowered pendulous cym's. This one is a light minty green colour and has a better shape this year.

Wow, that's lovely :) (mind you, I'm biased when it comes to anything with 'Jennifer' in the name!)

I like white flowers so well that I bought a Sarah Jean at the Central Florida show two years ago. It hasn't bloomed since. Cymbidiums are very difficult here. They grow like daylilies but flowers are scarce.

Does it get cold enough there to flower them? I know sometimes you get the odd snow or ice storm in parts of Florida. But what are the minimums like where you live?

I grow cold outside in winter and warm in summer.

Bolero, I think the problem is with the lack of cool nights that they need in Sept. and Oct. to set buds. We do not cool down to 50'sC at night until about Dec. I have heard that some people place small plastic bags of ice in the pots to cool the bulbs. Too much efforts for my taste.
