Are these 2 different spikes, or two different plants? I love the barring on these guys... you just never know where/if they will pop up

These are 2 differents plants, one "normal" one, and one labelled 'violet stripes' ;)

I purchased a small one couple of months ago and hope that it will reach blooming size by next year. If it flowers and they look half as nice as yours I'll be happy! I am hoping for stripes.
