Interesting Psychopsis spike/bud

This is the second spike that my Psychopsis has sent out, with a third on the way. Initially it looked normal, but after the first bud was about 1/3 of the way formed, it started forming another on the same spike! I didn't think it would continue to grow but it has, and I'm curious as to what it's going to do! I'll post again once it's bloomed. :lol:

I think you just got really lucky. I saw a pic of one recently on another site that was carrying two flowers on one spike at the same time. I think yours is gonna do the same!

It looks like you have a Psychopsis versteegiana or at least on with that in its lineage. There are four different species of Psychopsis.
