Large vanda picture....................
 

This is a picture that I borrowed from the R.F. Orchids website (I hope they don't mind). It's a large vanda alliance orchid in a tree on their property. Not too shabby I'ld say.

That is ridiculous. Any idea the scale on this bad boy? I think I can count at least 15 plants, and the roots look... well... ridiculous.

I would bet money there is Yip Sum Wah in that cross. How impressive!

Anyone could do it. All you need is the right orchid, a tree, the right climate, the necessary skills - and around 50 years.

You're right Baz. I read somewhere that they have some orchids at R.F. that are at least 35 years old.
ZXYQU, I'm not sure but I would say judging from the roofline that it's over 15 feet tall.

Need more humidity (pretty humid today) or a giant greenhouse. :biggrin::biggrin:
