Blc Golden Tang flowering ? Nurture vs nature?

Hi All~~~

My Golden Tang has flowered. It's really pretty. When I bought it, it had already flowered & was just the plant (that's how I buy my orchids, that way I get them cheaply). I really had no idea of what it would look like. I'm thrilled.

Anyway, this is my question--the Golden tang has one flower. Is there anything that I can do in the future to produce a spike that has more flowers? I fertilize weakly weekly, there is proper light, humidity, & temp drop in the sunroom; the plant is planted in a bark/perlite mixture & is healthy. (I bring the plants into the house when they have flowered so I can enjoy them.) Or is it plant genetics that determine the # of flowers/spike?

TIA~~

In my experience with the Richard Mueller crosses, the flower count improves with the age of the plant. They also like a lot of light.
