Coelogyne parishii
 

Hello OB. This is the hardest orchid I have ever grown and had managed to kill quite a few of these. A while ago, I traded a few of these away on the forums here. The first time I grew it, I used a fir bark mix, but had little luck due to low humidity in the house. I then tried sphagnum moss and have had better luck. Grown in partial shade as full sun will scorch the thin leaves. I have seen flowering specimens in person with leafless pseudobulbs. Some growths did, some didn't for mine.

they are rather tricky, i dont think i would try one outside the greenhouse.....yours looks fine tho and i love the flowers!

Is it true that this species has never been awarded?
