That's wonderful!

What types of orchids do you grow? Where are you located? So many questions...so much time ;)

I'd love to hear more from you and I'm sure our other members would too...would you mind posting a little about yourself and your 'chids in our Introductions - Break The Ice forum? We'd like to give you a proper OB :welcome:

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask :D

Lovely to be able to see all angles in this way.

How did you do that? :scratchhead: Really, quite nice!

Hmm, the link seems to be dead for me.

The basic way you make these is by using a turntable and taking lots of pictures; the smoother you want the rotation to be, the more pictures you take. You can buy gadgets for this kind of photography with graduated N degree stops, which make things easier, although you could make your own with a lazy susan, a protractor, and some time. If you want to get more fancy, you could probably drill small stop holes in your turntable.

You should set your exposure manually so it's consistent.

The trickiest part is lining the flower up on the turntable so the axis of rotation goes through the bloom of interest.

Then just take your NNN shots and assemble them in a movie editor or program that makes animated .gifs etc.
