ive gotten ribbons at OS meetings, but never a real AOS sanctioned show. it was the CPOS show, in pennstate.

i got special recognition for paphiopedilium!! the plant that got the award was paph. fairieanum 'green giant' x hsinyng citron '1309'

i didnt go to the show, but i sent it for our OS display, sadly all my plants came back in bad shape :( the paph lost both blooms, and really should have at least kept the newer one, it wasnt old at all :'( but here are pictures i took before the show...

Way to go! It's a great looking paph! I always try to take a photo before taking a plant out for show. But it's really too bad they got roughed up. I've been lucky so far and it seems the people in charge here use great care. They all should! If plants get too banged up, people will stop contributing for shows and then what?

well i think i may stop contributing to shows, at least to the ones i cant help setup and tear down. sad but true
