I got this plant without bloom last year. Now it is in bloom. The blooms are odorless.

This is a cool one. It was only in March that I first came across a bulbo with a spike like this, I like this one because it's more colourful in the spike than that one.

Two similar species, Bulbophyllum maximum and Bulbophyllum purpureorhachis are well known. Besides, there are several varieties in the species, Bulb. falcatum.

I think it was purpureorhachis that I saw. It was much darker in colour than yours but similar shape.

Bulb. purpureorhachis is the largest one among these and also to be the the most expensive one. These years, these African bulbophyllums have been popular and more and more people own them.
