Bllra Pluto's Drummer "pacific pink" is the sadder looking one, but everyone needs a rescue
Iwanganara Apple Blossom is the one i'd wanted for ages and this is 'Woodlands' and doesn't really quite smell as amazingly as i've heard they're supposed to smell but still super pretty.

Just wanted to brag. Still need to repot them (the soil is wet wet wet! good thing my apartment air is dry dry dry!!)

I wouldn't have been able to resist that first one either. Sad orchids break my heart, and have a way of following me home if I'm not careful.

I just got myself a Woodlands too -- gorgeous flowers! I got mine free w/purchase because no one had purchased it when it was in bloom, so it'll be a few more months before I actually get to see this little lady bloom and can get a whiff of them! I'm hoping the scent is as strong as I've heard! It's such an easy grower for me - I have two new bulbs growing like mad right now!

Hmm, the only flower that's left on my plant doesnt really smell. I'm hoping that's just because the plant thought it was on its way out, right? right?

I have noticed that my scented orchids tend to not smell towards the end of their blooming. The smell gets fainter until the flowers start to fall, and then it seems to be done.
