Another Tropical Rhododendron 'Ruby Grace'

Hey guys,

Here is one that I have had since October. It formed a bud about 2 months ago and finally today it bloomed! Was a wee-bit dissapointed that it was only 1 bloom but not bad for my first Rhododedron bloom that I can claim as a product of my care. The bloom is about 1 inch long, and the plant is only 4 inches tall by 5-6 inches wide.

Another herald of spring. I think this a fine example of what in the next few years will be many such blooms. I never realized until I lived in Oregon how many varieties of Rhododendron there are in this world. Tons in all colors. AL
