Psychopsis Yellowing Leaf Problem

1 Attachment(s)
I need some help with a diagnosis for the yellowing leaf on this new Psychopsis that I purchased from Norman's orchids. I have three other Psychopsis, all healthy, blooming and quite happy. I want to make sure that this isn't a virus.

This new orchid arrived about a month ago with some damage at the leaf tip; that is where the yellowing began. It's slowly looking worse, spreading throughout the leaf. The other three leaves on this Psychopsis look healthy. Last. week, I treated it with Physian 20.

W O W!! 4 spikes. I love it. The leaf should maybe be cut back into the healthy green area and be dusted with cinnamon.

If the yellow is progressing then it is probably a bacterial infection. I would cut off the yellow, making sure to cut into the green just in case and seal the wound with cinnamon like Daethen said.

Yeah I'm not sure, how are they other leaves? It could just be getting used to it's environment, or cannibalizing a leaf in preparation to make new growth. Just get rid of the leaf since it's not photosynthesizing anyways if it's yellow, and watch the other leaves. Be careful to keep the air circulation up around this plant, it does like to be moist but too wet can cause rot and leaf yellowing.

Thanks to everyone. I'd been thinking infection. I'll cut the leaf, apply the cinnamon and watch the water

BTW, this is an amazing Psychopsis. 4 branching spikes with 9 buds on this plant. Definitely worth some care and rescue.
