Dendrobium scabrilingue detailed culture info

Hello!

I recently got a Den scabrilingue with flowers. It is totally dry. They said it needs drought when bloom.

When should I first water it? Now, or after flowers fade away?

When should I stop water it in the autumn?

I Keep mine moist(slightly dry-out between waterings) from spring to early fall. In Nov., I gradually reduce the water, then no fertilizer in winter and only mist my plant once in awhile to prevent it from shrivel up too much.

Once I see the flower buds, I gradually increase the water.

Thank you.

It is planted in moss. Is it fine or should I transplant it in bark? If I should, when to do it?

I grow mine on stick mount but medium size bark mix should be okay. Repot it in the spring after the bloom.

Hi there
I agree with all the above but, would point out that seeing it's in flower,It needs to stay moist now & not dry.... Once it has flowered it will grow & put out new growths till autumn. Good luck
