Any interest in Ordering from Equatorial Plants?
 

Several of us are combining to order from Equatorial Plants. These will be imported from Britain and will come with all the necessary permits and paperwork. The company specializes in New Guinea Dendrobiums and has flasks of three sizes:

large mother flasks,
smaller commercial flasks
individual seedlings in flask

The commercial flasks are L30, approx $49 and the hobby flasks of 5 are L10-15, approx $16-25. Let me know if you are interested in ordering anything.

When would they come in?

How much is the Phytosanitary paperwork?

How much is shipping?

When do you need payment?

How will this be organized?

Is there a need for an import permit?

I read the home page and they said that there is a bulk order requirement for orders outside the UK and Europe.



And the pricing is as follows?

Commercial flasks (approx 30 seedlings) - $49

Hobby flasks (approx 10 - 15 seedlings) - $16 - $25



What about the mother flasks? Are they at the protocorm stage or are they at a stage where they can be immediately deflasked and put in compots or mounted? How many seedlings in a mother flask (my assumption is approx 50 seedlings, but I could be wrong) and how much are they?

Is this link to the available flasks or we need to email for availability. I am only asking because the website doesn't seem to be current.

You're right. They seem to have stopped updated after 2008.
