HELP! Phal leaves got burned

I went to water my Phal tonight and when I pulled it out of its corner I noticed the leaves were completely limp, paper thin, wet, and almost transparent. Low and behold...the leaves without my knowledge were resting behind my refrigerator on the coils! They got burned :(

It seems like there is no returning them to how they used to be. Should I wait it out and see if they become solid again or remove them? The rest of the plant is still in perfect condition.

I'm afraid it's irreversible.
It think you'd better cut them (and sprinkle the cut with cinnamon powder), for the dead wet leaves are calling for fungi/bacteria.

I agree with Val,

Cut the affected leaves off and make sure to sprinkle the cut with cinnamon. Cinnamon is great for drying cuts and stopping bacteria from getting in through the cut.

I think if you leave the leaves on they will easily get infected through the damaged tissue in the leaves.

I agree, it's better to remove what's damaged. Do you have a picture? For some leaves you may not have to remove the entire leaf (so that the poor plant still has some leaf area left). If ithere are smallish burnt spots it's entirely possible to cut them out, likewise if the burn is on a leaf margin.

Just one question, because I'm curious. Why is the plant behind the refrigerator?
