Sequential Paphiopedilum
2 Attachment(s)
:hello
I have two kinds of Paphiopedilum, one sequential and one is not. So far the non-sequential bloom type did not yield anything this winter of 2011, just fans and fans of leaves. However, the other one, the sequential bloomer has been actively blooming. To all those waiting for their blooms, here are photos of my sequential bloomer, hope you all like it. And I hope they will come back too, I think this flower spike is at its last run for the season heheh! |
I want to get a sequential bloomer so bad. My psychopsis is back to blooming again though.

Sequential bloomers rock! Seems like they are always in bloom. :) Do you know the name of this one?

A nice little "primcolor" he has there :)
The sequentials blooms yu will find are typically much smaller bec of the fact they are sequential. The single blooming paphs are much larger and take much longer to develop. More can go wrong also in that long time with air, humidity, temps, water or lack of it. bloom method..make sure temps drop 10 -15 degrees at night.Raise the light levels during the day :) works for me anyway!~! |
