Dtps. Tying Shin Pink Kite 'Geneva'
 

I've been waiting for this one to start blooming since the first hint of a spike showed up in October. She's a crazy brancher and the first bloom opened up today. Until now I've never seen the flower in person (only pictures).

She opened up all at once. I checked early in the morning and it was still closed. Checked again 2 hours later and it was open!

What a gorgeous bloom! :love: Reminds me of a Pescatorea bloom. The plant looks awesome too, happy plant, happy roots and big fat spikes! :)

That is really a unique looking flower. I really like it. Those big fat lateral sepals make it look really different from other Phals. Nice selection! I would have picked it too. :)

The lip finished opening the day after I first posted these pics. Here's what I think all of the blooms will look like. Thanks for all the kind words.
