Greenhouse as habitat/diorama anyone?

Just received my mini GH, a 9x4' Santa Barbara GH Deluxe Kit, redwood and glass with poly roof. Currently treating all the wood with marine sealer to avoid rot.

I plan on setting the green house up like a small piece of tropical forest for intermediate shady types (50-80/85F, pleurothallids and other minis). I want to contrast that with the more typical bench/shelf arrangement. Has anyone done that? Any dos and don'ts?

The biggest concern is mold growth on logs. I plan on using manzanita branches that are fixed to the struts of the GH. Manzanita has been recommended to grow epiphytes on by people in the local orchid society. In my terrarium, ghost wood works well, but is not available in large sizes (8-10' sections). I don't want to use synthetic materials (e.g., epiweb). Any opinions, suggestions?

For moisture buffer, I plan on putting a bed or orchid bark or perlite in a cinderblock/brick bed. Then a mistking mister on a regular short-burst cycle to keep humidity high.
