Dendrobium struggling
7 Attachment(s)
Hi,
I have had this Dendrobium for many years and it never has bloomed. It had some water spots that I ended up cutting off and placing cinnamon on and also gave it the Physan treatment. On photo 8, you can see that it seems to have split for some reason. Also on photo 7 & 8, you can see that it has some sort of clear droplets, almost looking like dew (on the underside). The roots are not great but I used Dip N Grow and repotted. Any ideas what is going on with this? Do I have any problem with insects, virus' or anything else? Thank you for your time. |
Your plant isn't thriving but as to why?......
What was the root condition when you repotted? If there aren't many, that may be stunting it. They like lots of bright (not direct) light and lots of water but with very good drainage. The clear drops can be a sign that the plant is actively growing (a good thing) or that you have some sort of sucking insect. Splitting leaves can indicate low humidity. Maureen |
