what kind of bug?

i have been growing orchids for three years and have never had bugs before. i just watered one of my paph. orchids and seen two very very small silver grey oval shaped bugs. can someone tell me what kind of bug i may have? i have been reading about bugs and i can't tell if i have spring-tails or if they are mealy bugs. i wish i had a pic to show sorry. what should i do? later after reading about bugs i went to look and couldn't find any thing. any info you may have would be so kind. sky

It kind of sounds like springtails, here are 2 links you might find interesting.

Mealy bugs don't move fast.

thank you these links have been very helpful. after reading them i am definitely leaning towards spring-tails, they do not look like the mealy bugs. so i guess i am just to dry my plants out that are in that area for a while. thanks so much again i am so relieved that i do not have a major pet problem. i guess i dodged a bullet on this one. you have been much thanks again sky

they definitely moved two inches rather quickly.
