These are sweet! Any names for us?

BikerDoc5968 01-11-2011 01:08 PM

I know you told me once upon a time where, "The Land of Milk and Honey", is but major brain cramp and can't remember... anyway, as I recall it's somewhere cold at this time of year and I absolutely love your catts and wish I could do something with mine to get them to flower. I've had minimal flowering this year even with baking them on the driveway all summer. So they look GREAT!

Gorgeous blooms. What a treat in the middle of winter. Would love to know the names.

I might be wrong, but from the look of your 4th picture, it seemed that the flowers had signs of mealybug infections. I saw those white dusty thing on the petals. Gorgeous flowers though:)

I think you might want to look again.... I believe they are water droplets and not cotton wool mats of mealy.. but then I'm old and the eyes fail me from time to time and with my vitreous detachment, I see even less!

I sure hope those were water droplets:) It's up to the owner's judgement anyway. I am just saying that if it were mealy, maybe this plant should be seperated from the others for the time being.
