Mike brought a new level of enthusiasm to the subject of Ghost Orchids and Florida's swamp areas. We all learned a lot from his generous sharing of knowledge and excitement.

So very sad. I feel so bad for his loved ones and hope they find peace. Mike will be missed.

RIP Mike... Even though I don't know him personally, I always enjoy his thread on the ghost orchids and the Fakahatchee (is that the spelling?) trip. I hope he will get to enjoy his own patch of orchid heaven up there too!
