Phragmipedium fischeri
This is somehow the most variable plant I have. It was a bit difficult to get adapted to my growing conditions, but soon it started to grow and is now a 6 growths plant, blooming regularly... However, the flowers are always different:
Fisrt bloom (2009 - Phragmipedium lindenii complex): http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3559/...2f8d9a6190.jpg Phragmipedium fischeri by kavanaru, on Flickr Second Bloom (2009 - Phragmipedium exstaminodium complex): http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3609/...393d380252.jpg Phragmipedium fischeri by kavanaru, on Flickr Third Bloom (2010 - No picture but was like the second flower in shape but dark as the first one) Fourth Bloom (2010 - less color, but finally a full flower!): http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5082/...86a8f3d5b4.jpg Phragmipedium fischeri by kavanaru, on Flickr |
Cool, I remember seeing the picture of the first flower and it's mutation before. Great to see that it's finally developed the full shape.
