Flowers look quite large for the size of the plant. Interesting foliage too!

Thanks Kim and Paul. It's interesting that this plant has two kinds of leaves - shorter leaves that do not have the hair and do not bear flowers and the leaves you see in the photo, very long, hairy and bearing flowers.

Thanks, Rosie. The plant is always in flower since each spike produces flowers over a very long time, and each leaf continues to produce spikes for a very long time.
