Very neat!

nice! I thought the flowers are bigger but they are realy "mini" :)

Thanks, Paul and Xristie. The flowers are indeed quite small, but the plant is always in bloom.

so it blooms all year round?

ronaldhanko 12-22-2010 03:49 PM

Xristie, it is rarely out of bloom since it blooms successively on each spike. My plant happens to be out of bloom at the moment, but that's because it was doing poorly - needed to be repotted - and when I repotted it I cut all the spikes off.

I like that a lot. It has a sort of 'turned back' look at the top of the flower which is cool looking. I was suprised when I saw the picture showing the pendent nature of the flowers, I can see now why you cut the spikes off when you repotted.
