Hey, just stumbled upon this group. I have been a short time avid orchid fan, which came hand in hand with my poison dart frog collecting and vivarium building. I prefer to go with miniatures, but I do enjoy using full sized orchids in my vivariums when they are large enough. I have fallen for Pleurothallids, Paphiopedulum, and various others, especially natives of Central/south america and Madagascar. I just recently visited thailand, and was totally amazed at a Vanda farm I visited. Incredible is the only word I can think to say about it. ANyway, hope this group helps me grow and learn in the orchid hobby. Hopefully I will have my own greenhouse in short time.

How long have you been doing vivs? I just started vivs, and am yet to start on darts or orchids. I think I might be too chicken.
