Zygocactus Fuchsia & Red
The Christmas Cactus Plant in Red and Fuchsia:biggrin:
These plants are members of the Zygo-cactus family. Most of which are native to Central and South America. Although these plants are called cacti, they are truly different in all aspects from the common desert cactus with which we are all familiar. These plants are epiphytes and found in the same environments as orchids:) http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t...Nov2010001.jpg http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t...Nov2010028.jpg http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t...Nov2010030.jpg http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t...Nov2010029.jpg |

Beautiful blooms, and your plants put on quite a show! :bowing All 4 of mine are blooming/ in bud, but they're still quite small compared to yours. I'll have to post photos of them soon. These guys are quite addictive, I want more of them!

gorgeous! both of mine are blooming now, at the appropriate time, too ;)
And I agree with Camille, they are addicting, and I, too, want more of them! :) |
Very nice. I never had any luck reblooming these. My apartment lights are on too late in the evening to get them to bloom in the winter time.
