I never thought I would see the day this orchid rebloomed.

Congrats :) I'm hoping I get a nice bloom off mine soon - it's been growing up nicely so it should be ready for its first one next year (fingers crossed)

I'm sure I just commented on this one, but it seems to have got lost.

Anyway, congratulations, it's looking fantastic. I've not yet rebloomed by one and only Brassia so I really hope I can have your success one day.

Hmm, I think it's the same plant, different forum! Double appreciation! ;)

camille1585 11-23-2010 03:29 PM

Woohoo, nice blooms! :) How long have you been waiting for it to rebloom?

Is it illegal to post the same pictures under two different forums? Sorry :( :blushing:
I actually got it a year ago. The kind of orchid that I couldn't resist, but never thought would rebloom. I noticed the spike about 2 weeks ago and the next thing I knew it was blooming. The stars all opened up within a few hours.:D

Not illegal, but it makes things very confusing! Don't worry about it this time. For a post showing off blooms it's not too bad, but when there are double posts for advice on something then it gets a bit problematic. There might be different advice in each and someone posting in one thread might not see the other, or the OP will give additional info in one thread that migh get asked for (again) in the other. So generally confusing!

You are more than welcome to delete one or move it :blushing:

I really like Brassia's, they are a great contrast to other orchids and instead of being more formal and stately, they are on the wild side. Fantastic blooms!

It doesn't really matter, just confused me because I was reading 'new posts' and commented then a couple of posts later saw the same thing withought my comment and thought I was going mad :) I even looked at the list again to see if I could see two versions of it and couldn't so must have missed it. :blushing:

As Camille has said, when showing off blooms it doesn't really matter. When asking advice it can mean that people miss the advice others have given or additional info that has been asked for in one and not the other.

No problem...really nice blooms and glad to see them twice
