Three Masdevallias
Also posted in the photography thread as examples of what can be done with lighting. The three are:
M. welischii 'Rip Hoff' http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1280/...9cf1ea39_t.jpg M. Falcon's Gold http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4127/...d01ed6a7_t.jpg M. constricta http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1010/...8fed9952_t.jpg |
Wow, just elegant, absolutely eleagant pieces of nature. Great photos too. You really captured their elegance.

Nice photos.
Read your comment on the Masd constricta pic... I think it's fine. I'd imagine that it'd be difficult to make the light bend with the bend of the sepaline tube. |
Gorgeous and I love your photos.

Should have mentioned that the Masd. constricta flowers are huge, about 5.5 inches from tip to tip of the tails on a plant that's only about 4 inches tall.

Fantastic photos Ron.
My favorite is the Falcon's Gold, you can image how soft and velvety it is from the pic. Beautiful!! Judi |
