Neofinetia seed pods ripening in winter rest ?

Does anyone know how long Neofinetia seed pods need to get mature ? (one website I found mentions 165 days). My plant was blooming late this year (end of august) and the pods started to develop in september. They are now very big and green.
My problem is that I should be putting the plant to rest now for the winter, but I am afraid it will stop the ripening of the seed pods...
I suppose in their natural habitat the plants bloom late spring and have time to ripen their seeds before winter ? So I am wondering if I should keep the plant in warm growing conditions until the pods are ready to collect, even if it means no winter rest for the plant :(

Thanks for any input..

Yes. I brought my Kuro Shinjyu into my local orchid nursery to be selfed this year. Jason pollinated it on May 24th. The pod was ready by the last week of Sept. The purpose of selfing was to wish and hope for a small chance that a miniature, variegated bean leaf would come to be.

So I'd say....depends on how much you want those pods. If it's something really cool that you want to see the results of, skip the winter rest.

Thank you LinhT for the advice, I will wait a few more weeks before putting it to winter rest.
Unfortunately the seed pods I was hoping for did not develop (a cross between my similar to 'Tougen' and oonami Seikai), the 2 pods I got are from a self on the last flowers of this 'Tougen'.
